PLOT INTEGRATION:
Part of the historic Icebreak family, Cascade is very aware of the history that follows her name. Known for being one of the "softer" namesakes despite their role as Knights, the Icebreaks may not have the fearsome reputation of the Ravenspells or Wolfsbanes. What they do have, however, are paws on the pulse of the Court in terms of morale, relations with other groups (the more gossip there is, the less secrets and threats, according to them), and a knack for pairing cats together in the best matches for the Court's future. It is this responsibility that prompts Cascade's belief in keeping peace as long as possible (for how can the Court remain vibrant and at their best should they be caught in the warmongering?). However, this might backfire should tensions continue to rise.

HISTORY:
Born the middle kit to Hummingbird and River (Formerly of Windrunner), Cascade showed all the signs of her lineage from her first cries. Echoing off the stone walls of the nursery, it was a prime example of what was to come down the line for the young Molly. In those early days though, she spent most of her time frolicking with her brother, Pine, and her sister, Sunrise. The trio were not often seen apart - in fact, they were a 3-cat comedy show with the way they bumbled about, parading their antics in front of all to see. Sure, it caused some issues from time to time, but nothing too lasting!

Alas, this tendency for dramatics would continue after all three took the Plunge and were assigned mentors. It was here the young Cascade found her heart first pulled towards another. A handsome tom, no doubt slated for Ranger training, was just a few paw steps ahead. He may not have looked twice at Cascade, but she spoke of him as if he'd hung the moon. Her sister, amused, would only encourage this behavior, though her brother may have started to distance himself just a little. (Though if that was due to him taking after his father or the fact he pined after the same tom, Cascade didn't know). Of course, nothing happened between any of them, but it'd given Cascade a taste for what romance and heartbreak could be. The rest of training was uneventful and, like all good Icebreaks before them, the trio chose to follow in the paw steps of the Knights before them. 

Carrying on in her training as a Knight, Cascade continued to find her talents beyond just that of guarding and patrolling. She had a knack for storytelling and an eye for a good match - except for herself. Another round of pining, this time on a Knight Squire, and yet another round of heartbreak after a few moons of "will they, won't they" in which the older cat turned her down once they had passed their trial. Still, she learned more and more lessons at the paws of her family sages, and soon the influence of the young, charismatic Molly began to grow. In fact, so interested in those around her, she began to take part in her family's favorite festival at a younger age than most. She did not let it interfere with training, however, and soon enough it was time for her trial. 

It could only be fate that her mentor chose the Knight who spurned her as one of her duels, but it only fueled Cascade's fire. Dramatic, swift, and underlined with talent - She put on a show, much to the chagrin of her dueling mate. The last feat, climbing to the top to rip her inheritance from the soaring spire, was her last triumph as a Squire. It was this show of strength that earned her an honored spot as a Knight.  

The moons since becoming a Knight have been relatively uneventful, though Cascade now enjoys getting to know the other families and (not so secretly) pairing them together. Though young, she's a well-known member of the Icebreaks who always makes an appearance at the "Icebreaker" event.
